Disassemble the handle
STEP 1. Hold the handle firmly with one hand and carefully turn the black outer tip of the handle counter-clockwise. If necessary, use a long, thin, sturdy object, such as a spoon handle, to help you: insert it into the hole in the black part of the handle and use it as a lever to turn the part.
STEP 2. Slide the handle down and away from the cooking piece.

STEP 1. Slide the outer metal tip of the handle up until it engages with the notch on the outside of the cooking piece.
STEP 2. Hold the handle in this position and screw the black piece at the end of the handle clockwise until the handle is securely attached. MAKE SURE THE HANDLE IS CORRECTLY THREADED ON AND DOES NOT MOVE OR LOOSEN. If necessary, use a long, thin, sturdy object such as a spoon handle: insert it into the hole in the black piece of the handle and use it as a lever to turn the piece.
